This page explains which data is technically processed when visiting the Knowledge Factory and sending the feedback form.

2. Provision of the website and server logs

The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection and access data may be processed. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested file, access status, transferred data volume, previously visited page and information about the browser and operating system.

Processing is used to provide the website securely and reliably, to detect errors and to predect against attacks and abuse. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of this website. The provisions of Swiss data protection law may also apply.

According to the hosting provider, ordinary log data is generally deleted after no more than seven days. Longer storage may be necessary if specific security incidents or unlawful access attempts need to be investigated.

3. Quiz function

Questions are selected, answers are checked and scores are calculated directly in the user’s browser. Entered answers and quiz results are not sent to the operator and are not stored permanently.

4. Cookies and browser storage

No user account is created for the quiz. The browser may store the pool of already shown questions in session storage so that the next round can show different questions where possible. This information stays in the browser and is not sent to the operator as a personal profile.

When the feedback form is sent, the server may use a technical PHP session to enforce a short sending delay.

5. Contact form for constructive feedback

The contact form can be used to send feedback about the quiz. Name and email address are optional. The feedback text and a simple security question are required. The entered information is sent to the operator by email and used to process the feedback.

To reduce automated abuse, the form contains simple technical checks.

6. Simple page view counter and no external tracking

The website may display public page view numbers. Only a total number is stored on the server and increased once per browser session. In addition, the website may publicly show how many questions have been answered in total. This question counter is kept only as a total and is increased by one whenever an answer is clicked.

The question counter stores no names, email addresses, IP addresses, individual answers or user profiles. Only the total number of answered questions is counted.

The quiz session score can continue across several quiz sections during the same browser session. Only the total number of answers, correct answers, streak and best round are stored. This score is lost when the browser session is closed.

No analytics tools, ad networks, social networks, external fonts or other tracking services are currently embedded.

7. External content and links

The quiz page currently loads no content from third party providers. If external services or links are added later, this privacy notice will be updated accordingly.

8. Rights of affected persons

Affected persons may request information, correction, deletion or restriction of processing under the applicable data protection rules. Where the legal requirements are met, they may also object to processing or contact a data protection supervisory authority.
